Private Makeup Lessons
Yes, this is one of the core primary services we provide. We teach you how to do your own makeup and your lesson is 100% customized to what you want to learn. These lessons take place at our Calgary beauty studio, Prête.
It is not required to bring your own supplies as we do have everything here at the studio. However it totally depends on what is best for you. If you have makeup you like and you want to learn how to use it better then yes, be sure to bring it along.
However, if your current makeup collection feels old and stale and you're ready for a fresh start you can either leave it at home or bring it along and we can salvage what's still good together.
Yes, you will be doing your own makeup. We provide the guidance and the expert instruction (by demonstrating on ourselves) and then YOU do the actual applying on yourself. This is the very best way to learn.
Yes, for beginners we start at the very beginning, explaining all vocabulary, introducing you to the tools, products, techniques one-by-one.
Yes, if you already know the basics of makeup and are ready to jump into more advanced topics we are happy to cover more complex makeup topics.
Yes if you've heard your loved one previously express interest in learning how to do their makeup better this makes a great gift. You can either purchase a gift certificate and allow them to make the booking when they're ready. Or you can reach out to us directly at support@adriennefurrie.com and we can help arrange a pre-purchased/pre-scheduled lesson.
Yes, our products are all designed to be low to no fragrance and are all made here in Canada using the highest quality and safest of ingredients. If you have a preferred brand of products you want to stick with no problem, bring along whatever you already have.
Usually the simplest and best option is for you to come to our beauty studio Prête located in Calgary, AB. We are set up for lessons with proper lighting, plenty of counter space and access to every possible beauty item needed.
We can also arrange to bring lessons to your location for an additional travel fee.
Groups can typically range from 2-6 participants. For larger groups please send us an inquiry and we are happy to provide a custom solution.
