We're the official makeup beauty partner for the Calgary Stampede Princess, Sarah O'Brien

This city throws on its boots every July and we get to be part of it. This year, that means sponsoring professional makeup and Adrienne Furrie Beauty cosmetics for Sarah O'Brien, our 2026 Calgary Stampede Princess.

I still get a little starstruck saying that out loud. Sarah is sharp, warm, and somehow always smiling, no matter how early the mornings or how late the nights get during Stampede season.

Doing her makeup for the run of photoshoots leading up to kickoff has been a real highlight, and watching her skills grow over the past six months has been just as rewarding.

We've talked through everything from keeping her signature Stampede red lips perfect, to keeping a fitted satin outfit looking flawless on horseback (which is no small feat, but she makes it look easy).

There's something about Stampede that brings this whole city together, and getting to contribute to that has been a delight.
